Good Friday
-joy, joy, and even more joy!!!
this is what my friend tiff wrote to me:
hey cora...it was sunny and warm at the beginning of the week...then it started to get cloudy...then it rained wednesday and yesterday...i thought of you and how you told me that for the past few Good Fridays it has rained...i'm thinking it just might rain again today....so cool. =0)
"It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour, for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two."
...and guess what? it's dark and gloomy outside and it's raining....weird!!!....today is Good Friday, my aspects of Good Friday have totally changed ever since i learnd about the reason the Lord has died for us. Hey, if you guys who are out there who think that they have to be sad and gloomy today like what i thought i had to feel like before...don't!!!..because that's not what it is about!!! Jesus' death should be our joy knowing that He has also resurrected!! And knowing that He died to give us Life!!!! And plus, His death didn't last that long....He rose again!!!! Let us be reminded of His death, not just today, but everyday!!!....The Lord Jesus died for us not just to wash away our sins, but to deal will the root of the problem as well....us!!! He died, so that we may die with Him!!!! So when He died, we died. Watchman Nee said: "When the Lord Jesus was on the Cross all of us died-not individually, for we have not yet been born-but being in Him, we died with Him." And guess what? Jesus has ALREADY died....so it's all done and finished!!!!! Hallelujiah!!!!!.......today is a joyful day!!!!!
If you don't know what i mean about us dying with Him...don't fret..:)....read Romans 4-6!!! Personally note: Romans 7 and 8 is good too!!!...hey, but if you read Romans 7, you better read Romans 8 as well and link them together!!!!!!...cuz a lot of people misinterpret Romans 7 when it is by itself!!!!
anyways...i will write some more tonite...i will speak more about the curtain that is torn then...so say tune!!!
