in the old testament, no one was permitted to enter the Holy of Holies except the high priest, and that was only once a year!

but when Jesus died...
.."And the curtain of the temple was torn in two.."

What is the veil?
-it is our flesh, our sins and everything that seperates us from God.
but where is the veil now?
-And the curtain of the temple was torn in two...it's gone, it has been torn long ago!! it is finished...praise God! When Jesus died, the veil was torn!!! our old self was torn and our sins are torn. What seperates us from God? our sins....but it is TORN!!!! so that their may be no barrier in between us and God!!!..isn't that great!! Praise God!!!

knowing that, I woke up today with such great joy in my heart, i kept thinking about the veil and how it was torn when Jesus died!!! isn't that cool? "...that we may have confidence to enter the holiest by the blood of Jesus.." cool! nothing we do can torn it apart, but only by the blood of Christ, and it is done and over with!!!...yeah, we're dead!!!...but Christ is alive in us!!!....:)

"What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? But no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?......For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, and we should no longer be slaves to sin-because anyone who has died has been freed from sin...." ~Romans 6:3-6 did you notice that it is written in past tense? we died...was crucified....who has died....:) IT IS FINISHED!!!
